Microsoft API Propagation Times

Some Microsoft 365 controls may take 24-48 hours to show a PASS status after remediation due to Microsoft API propagation times.

Affected Controls

• Entra controls (codes starting with all-5.)
• Admin Center controls (codes starting with all-1.)

These controls interact with Microsoft’s distributed systems that require time to propagate changes across global data centers.

What This Means

After auto-remediation, these controls may continue to show as “waiting for confirmation” for up to 24-48 hours before updating to PASS status. This is normal Microsoft behavior and the status will update automatically once propagation is complete.
